It may seem unusual for an accounting firm that offers taxation and advisory services to also provide bookkeeping solutions to clients. However, we are pushing the boundaries of what accountants can offer small to medium businesses.
Bookkeeping can be boring and time-consuming for some whilst others enjoy bookkeeping but require some assistance with certain bookkeeping needs, which is why we offer a flexible service to clients. Our weekly service can include everything, including keeping your books up to date, allocating transactions, completing payroll, and following up any creditors and invoicing/debt collectors.
If you’re more than happy to take care of your day-to-day entry, we can provide a less comprehensive once off, monthly or quarterly review service to ensure your books are error-free and assist with ATO lodgements.
Lodging a business activity statement (BAS) is a quarterly or monthly business obligation. It is imperative that lodgement is made on time and is correct to avoid any fines and to maintain a reputation with the ATO as to make it easier to get payment plans accepted and any future general interest charges remitted.
We provide ongoing BAS services including review and lodgement of your ATO obligations and any payment arrangements required. By lodging through an agent, you are also entitled to a four-week extensions on your due dates.
Trying to stay up to speed with the specifics of awards including rules and rates can be complex and time consuming and getting it wrong can result in upset employees and a phone call from the ATO (since the introduction of Single Touch Payroll). Our payroll service professionals can take this burden off you and assist with anything and everything payroll, from getting you setup, to ongoing and end of year services.
